Can I visit the park without taking the boat trip?
Yes, it is entirely possible to visit the park without taking the boat trip. The visit still includes meeting the salt worker and the children’s salt harvest. We offer several options:
- Boat tour: includes the boat + the Salt Adventure Park and all its activities + meeting the salt worker + salt harvesting by the children.
- Park tour only: tour of the Salt Adventure Park and all its activities + meeting the salt worker + salt harvesting for the children, presentation of a certificate and the salt harvested.
Do I need to book?
It is always advisable to book in advance if you wish to take the boat trip option (as places are limited and departure times may change depending on the tides). You can contact us by phone or email by clicking here, or book online by clicking here. For other packages (Park only or with Canoes), it is not necessary to book in advance. However, for the Canoes, we advise you to contact us by phone to confirm the sailing times.
When can I book the boat trip?
Our departure times are scheduled every Friday for the following week. Book 2 to 3 days before your visit by phone or directly online. To find out our departure times, click here.
For groups, please contact us several weeks before your visit, as soon as you know your visit date.
On the day of your visit, please arrive 20 minutes before boarding.
What should I do if there are no more places available online?
Places will always be available by phone.
Please contact us at 02 51 21 01 19.
What payment methods are accepted?
Cash
ANCV vacation vouchers (paper and online)
Credit cards
Can we bring our dog?
You can take your dog on all tours, provided it is kept on a leash. However, please let us know when you book your boat trip so that we can allocate you the most suitable and comfortable place for your dog.
What should I wear to visit Les Salines?
In hot, sunny weather, bring a cap, hat, and sunscreen. In gray or rainy weather, bring a raincoat, warm clothing, and closed-toe shoes.
When it comes to shoes, it is always advisable to wear closed shoes for canoe or paddleboard rentals.
For other activities, no specific type of shoe is recommended.
What if the weather is bad?
You can take shelter throughout the tour in case of rain. Our bleachers are also covered. In case of showers, our boats are also equipped with fold-out roofs. However, please remember to come prepared for the weather: rain gear, windbreaker, and closed-toe shoes.
I have a disability. Is the park accessible?
We are able to accommodate people with motor disabilities (manual wheelchairs) in almost the entire park (approximately 80%). However, some areas are not accessible (points 8 to 12). As our park is a natural site, the paths can sometimes be steep in certain places. We have developed a route suitable for wheelchair users; please ask for it when you arrive at our site.
As for the boats, only manual wheelchairs can be taken on board (one manual wheelchair per boat). Unfortunately, electric wheelchairs cannot be taken on board for technical reasons.
For more information, please contact us before your visit at +33 (0)2 51 21 01 19. This will allow us to prepare for your arrival and suggest a more suitable time for you to visit the park at your leisure. See our dedicated page here.

At our Les Salines site, you have access to free private parking.
