  • The reproduction or representation of images, texts, or documents without authorization is punishable under civil law by a conviction for damages. These damages are determined on a case-by-case basis. It depends on the victim’s loss of earnings, the damage suffered as a result of the misrepresentation of the website’s presentation, and the impact this may have had on the website’s author. It also depends on how the image was promoted and what financial benefit it may have brought to the designer.
