The Bike Welcome Label
Les Salines has been awarded the “Accueil Vélo” label and is located along the “Vendée Vélo Tour” cycle route, a 700 km loop around the Vendée region. We are located on the “St Gilles Croix de Vie – Les Sables d’Olonne” section. This label guarantees you a personalized welcome and tailored services:
- Provision of existing cycling documentation dedicated to cycle routes
- Bicycle parking
- Drinking water available
- Accessible toilets
- Provision of a repair kit for minor damage (puncture repair kit, standard set of wrenches, lubricant, foot pump)
The Vélodyssée
The Salines site is also located on “La Vélodyssée,” the French section of Atlantic Coast Route – EuroVelo 1, a cycle route that crosses Brittany and runs along the Atlantic coast to the Basque Coast via an invigorating and wild route.
